BoWiTA ("the app", "we", "us") is a weight and body measurement tracking app. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
You may log weight entries, optional body measurements (neck, waist, hips and more), progress photos, and preferences such as language, units and goals. This information is personal health data.
All your weight data, measurements and photos are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not store your personal data on our own servers.
If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, managed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy applies. We have no access to your iCloud data.
BoWiTA uses a small number of third-party services: RevenueCat to manage subscriptions; TelemetryDeck for anonymous, non-identifying usage analytics; and WishKit to collect feature requests and feedback you choose to submit. These services do not receive your health data.
We use your data to provide the app's functionality, calculate statistics, charts and trends, process subscriptions through Apple, improve the app from anonymous usage patterns, and respond to feedback you send.
Your data is protected by iOS security features. Your photos and weight data never leave your device unless you enable iCloud sync.
All your data is accessible within the app. You can edit or delete any entry at any time. Premium users can export their data to CSV or PDF. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.
The application is intended for informational and personal tracking purposes only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical decisions.
This application is not directed to children.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above indicates when changes were made.
